These hair units that are treated in this way do not grow back but others may be in a dormant stage and start growing after the procedure. These other hairs would then also need to be treated.

The second use of lasers is for a device known as a laser comb or laser brush. These devices are intended to stimulate hair growth with low level light technology. The sales information states the laser energy re-energizes the follicle and gets it to start producing hair shaft material again. This has not been proved with peer reviewed testing. There is no method at the moment to allow for laser hair implants.

Hair implant costs vary depending on several factors including the geographical area along with the number of implants needed and the cost of the particular surgeon. If you are planning on getting a hair implant procedure done then visit several clinics for a free consultation and pick the one that will give you a good result for the price they charge. The individual hair implants price ranges from about $3 to $7 per implant in the US. This hair implant price will usually cover a certain amount of surgical after care also.

Some people are looking at a hair implant in India but I haven’t talked to anyone first hand about that destination.
